I have three wonderful kids and a loving husband whom love very much. I received my Bachelor's degree at Benedict College in early childhood education. After earning my degree, I wanted to give back to my community. That's why I came back to Bishopville because I believed I could make a difference in the lives of our children. I have been teaching now for 20 years. Each year, I learn something new. My students are constantly teaching me to become a more effective teacher. I also have a Master's degree in Learning Disabilities from Francis Marion University. This allows me to use the strategies I learned to aid in the success of students with learning disabilities as well as students in regular education. I believe that every child is talented in his/her own way. My job is to bring that talent out. That's why I am a dedicated teacher who wants nothing but the best for my children.
